| Last year, the Human Promise raised $15 000 through a variety of events, while simultaneously spreading awareness about the genocide in Darfur. At Bialik High School alone, we organized a school carnival, comedy show, an informative assembly. We also ran an enormously successful hockey tournament. This year, our fundraising goal is $30 000. We hope to achieve this through a soccer tournament (scheduled for Sunday, November 2nd), a student conference celebrating the 60th anniversary of the signing of the declaration of Human Rights, a bingo tournament and a golf tournament at the end of the summer. We know our goal of $30 000 is attainable, but we’re going to need your help.
